Appointment options and logistics
At this time, we only provide psychiatric care to patients located in Minnesota. In person appointments are available in Rochester, but we offer video appointments for patients anywhere in the state.
Psychiatric Care – Initial Visit (60-90 minutes)
Your first appointment provides ample time for a comprehensive psychiatric evaluation. During this extended session, we’ll review your current concerns, medical and psychiatric history, relevant family history, and any previous treatments. This thorough assessment allows me to understand your unique situation and develop an individualized treatment plan. We’ll discuss diagnosis when appropriate, explore treatment options including medications and other interventions, and establish clear goals for working together.
Psychiatric Care – Follow-up Visits (aprox. 30 minutes)
The frequency of visits will depend on your individual needs and treatment stability. These regular appointments focus on monitoring your progress and optimizing your treatment plan. We’ll review how you’re responding to treatment, make adjustments as needed, and address any concerns. While these visits may at times center on medication management, I incorporate psychotherapeutic techniques to help through immediate challenges (not a formal psychotherapy course).
Individual Psychotherapy
